Rude, Crude and Cuddly: Rudeness in the Animal Kingdom.

It doesn't stop with us, folks: we're the product of millions of years of rude animal behavior, too- at least, if you believe in evolution. (if by some chance you don't, please exit immediately and return to Revival, where there's a chance you actually may be missed.)

So. Animal rudeness. Don't piss off my Minikin. She's twice as rude in return. Retaliation is swift and unjust, and her resultant scope is vast. Rather than addressing the offending party directly, she just gets back at everyone by pissing all over the kitchen floor. Sometimes I don't even know what I've done (or what the others have done-) but I know it was somehow bad and wrong. --I don't advocate this as a means of dealing with rudeness- but it does get people's attention and contrition. And it's kind of neatly literal: you piss me off, i piss, bub. Rock on.

My next-door neighbor who often blasts music (of an indeterminate genre) at 4:00 a.m. so loud that she can't hear knocking on her door or apparently, the doorbell either, recently used her clicker to open the garage door after failing to notice that it was already open because another tenant was exiting in her Land Rover. The door crashed down on the car, causing $1400 in damages, and required the landlord to replace the garage door, which was new. The car owner's insurance company paid for the repair and a rental car for a week and then requested that my neighbor pay them back. She was incensed, screamed obscenities in two languages, ending with the most charming, Nobody got hurt so what's your fuckin' problem? Then she keyed the Land Rover for good measure. Act Two:
